Topic: Private Corporation Taxation Year in Review and Where Do We Go From Here?

Kim’s presentation will provide a brief history of the the last 12 months of taxation changes with a particular emphasis on the July 18, 2017 private corporation tax proposals, where we have landed and how this impacts tax and estate planning for private corporations and their shareholders. A quick review of other tax changes - such as how US tax reform impacts Canadians, the new trust reporting proposals and other miscellaneous changes - will be provided.
